  • Capturing the beauty of the original artwork

Every one of our prints is made using the Giclee printing process, for a museum-quality look and feel that does justice to the original art.

Giclee printing is the gold-standard for preserving the meticulous detail and stunning colors that we love in the Japanese masters. All our prints are fade and fingerprint resistant, so you can enjoy their beauty for years to come.

We chose to offer 12”x18” (30cm x 45cm) as this was closest to the “chuban” size sheets used for woodblock prints historically.

All of our prints come with matte finish for a more authentic appearance.

    Framing Options:

    • Unframed
    • Framed - black
    • Canvas wrap

    Ready-to-Hang and Made to Last

Mounting brackets are included and centered on our framed prints and canvas wraps.

All of our prints are made to last, with fade-resistant colors and materials. See how they arrive in the unboxing videos below.

  • About the Art

Katsushika Hokusai's astounding creation, Nihonbashi Bridge in Edois one of the prominent woodblock prints from his notorious series, Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji depicting the beauty of Mount Fuji with an occupied front view of the busiest place of Edo. This vivacious print embodies the distant view of the iconic Mount Fuji with the collaboration of a place full of busy people.

Katsushika Hokusai has created this woodblock print portraying the Nihonbashi Bridge which was considered to be the heart of the city of Edo and at the same time the terminal of the country's five main highways. Hokusai has brilliantly highlighted the commercial center and the state of haste amidst the group of people. He has portrayed the blue waterway lined with the warehouses with the backdrop of a distant view of the great Mount Fuji and Edo castle. The bridge is not the highlight of this print as it barely can be seen rather than the chaotic area. Though the name of this print is based on the Nihonbashi Bridge, Hokusai has vibrantly emphasized the commercial axis of Edo as the busy place with an amalgamation of a distant view of Fuji.
